My wife is the most important thing in my life. Jen and I have known each other for seven years. We met at a house party in Maryland. It was one of those strange experiences where way too many coincidences come up, the conversation is so fluid and atypical, and you can't believe that you hadn't met this person before. On the (admittedly inebriated) ride home I confessed to the driver that I wanted to marry the girl whom I had just met.
We were married in San Francisco almost four years ago in the Presidio on a brisk, clear, March day. It was a great experience to have our families and closest friends together in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Jen loves hockey. I think hockey is okay :)
We still live in the Bay Area. We work hard, and we have challenging and esoteric hobbies. Jen plays ice hockey. I run ultra marathons. Jen makes jewellery. I like to write. We travel as often as our work schedules and family commitments allow.
Recently, we found out that we are pregnant with our first child! The last three months (first trimester!) have been exciting and stressful. Jen has been a real trooper. Between the morning sickness and the fatigue, it hasn't been easy for her. In the last two weeks her belly has just started to stick out noticeably in tight clothes. So cute.
Stay tuned. Lots more exciting stuff to follow.
